He has personally installed and managed some of the largest amateur radio stations in the United States, with a reputation for building MEGA sites that set the standard in the industry.
Owning and maintaining more than 50 radio towers — from rugged mountaintops in New York to oceanfront sites in Maine — Ray’s unmatched experience, technical knowledge, and passion for the craft are what drive him every day.
On the commercial side, Ray has contributed to major projects with organizations such as NASA, Homeland Security, and Boeing, delivering safe, reliable, and high-performance tower solutions. Robert Higgins, KC2UPN
Robert Higgins, KC2UPN, has been passionate about ham radio since the age of 12, building his first antenna as a young enthusiast and never looking back. Most of the antennas featured here are his own creations, showcasing his skill and dedication.
A welder by trade, Robert is also the founder of the DX Launcher, a highly popular tool for deploying wire antennas over trees with ease. In the realm of tower construction, he is recognized as a master problem-solver, consistently delivering efficient, professional, and reliable solutions for every project.
